Chapter I— Arrival

Anxious attachment healing for women

You told him you were fine.
Then you checked your phone eleven times

You can explain your anxious attachment to anyone, and it still takes over the moment he goes quiet. The pattern lives in your body, so that is where the work happens.

Chapter II— What This Work Helps You Move Through

What this work helps you move through

The patterns below are not flaws. They are signals that your nervous system is working hard to keep you safe. Together, we help them soften.

  • 01

Checking his phone activity like it's a part-time job

  • 02

Rereading one text so many times it stops meaning anything

  • 03

Saying "I'm fine" while you are, in fact, not fine

  • 04

Full nervous system shutdown because he left you on read

  • 05

Picking the guy who runs hot and cold over the one who's just... nice

  • 06

Shrinking yourself down to a size you think is easier to love

  • 07

Bracing for the other shoe to drop before the first one's even landed

  • 08

Being told you're "too much" by people who were never enough

The gap

You understand your anxious attachment. It still wins at 9pm

You have read the books. You can explain protest behavior to a friend and tell her which of her situationships was avoidant. You could write the caption.

Then he takes four hours to answer, and the part of you that read all those books goes missing.

That says nothing about your intelligence. In my experience, understanding comes fast, usually after a weekend of reading. Steadiness comes slower, through practice, in the body, while the alarm is actually going off.

Reassurance works for about two hours

He says it is fine, and you exhale. A couple of hours later you need it again. Reassurance is real relief, which is exactly why it is so easy to lean on harder and harder.

The work here is teaching your own body to settle, so that his answer becomes something nice to receive instead of the thing holding you up. It is a different way of working, and you can read how it plays out in practice.

LaurenRoot to Rise
She was very calm, patient, and understanding. I felt safe to open up in her presence. She guided me to see my old patterns and how to proactively change them. I feel that I will be forever changed for the better.
SarahRoot to Rise
It got right to the root of an issue I've been dealing with for a long time. She was able to pinpoint and guide me right to the old trauma and show me the way out of it so that I could move forward in life and break the cycle.

Chapter IV— The Method

The Healing Hearts Method

Every pattern has a root

The Healing Hearts Method is the framework that finds it, five steps, built from a method 45 years in the making, not a worksheet you forget about in a week.

Questions

What people usually want to know

Is this therapy?

No. This is nervous system coaching and emotional processing work. It is not a replacement for therapy or medical care, and I am not a licensed therapist. Many of my clients also work with a therapist. The two work alongside each other, because they address different layers.

I have already done therapy. Is this different?

Absolutely. Many women arrive after years of good therapy and can explain their pattern better than most people, and it still takes over when the alarm goes off. That is because the pattern runs below understanding, in the subconscious mind and the nervous system. My work happens there, in the body, through practices built to rewire the response itself. It works alongside therapy, and many of my clients do both.

How do I know if it is me or the relationship?

That is one of the most common questions, and a fair one. Anxious attachment can be part of the picture without being the whole story, and some relationships really are inconsistent. On the Attachment Clarity Call we look at your side of the pattern without assuming it explains everything. If what you describe sounds like something else, I will tell you that too.

Does my partner need to be part of this?

No. This work is yours to do on your own. Your partner does not need to join, agree, or take part in any way. You work on your half of the pattern, and that can change how the two of you move together.

What if I am not sure I am ready?

That is a completely normal place to be, and it is actually useful information for the Attachment Clarity Call. We can talk about what readiness would even look like for you. Booking the Attachment Clarity Call does not commit you to anything after it.
